How to use Summit Designer

So you’ve decided to simplify your next robotic application’s design process? Let’s get started…

The following page serves as a short introduction to Summit Designer, its potential, and how you can make use of it.

What is Summit Designer?

Summit Designer is an open-source collection of widespread market-ready application designs brought to you by our experts. Our vast team of engineers has gone through countless projects and innumerable hours developing robotics applications. All that expertise and know-how is condensed into every Design. Why would you go through all the trouble after we have?

The ultimate goal of Designer is to provide you with a one-stop shop for high-quality, industry-standard PCB designs, enabling you to bring your products to market faster and more efficiently.

Choosing your design

Do you have a specific application in mind? Head to the Available designs section to find a compilation of our existing designs.

Most Designs are conceived for a specific robotic application. Don’t be discouraged if you can’t find yours! Maybe there’s an existing Design that fits with minimal or no changes at all.

Developing stage

After finding a suitable design, you’ll need to get familiar with its documentation and manuals. Before moving forward, make sure you’ve gone through every documentation section.

Every Design features its own Download section, where you’ll find a collection of schematics and drawings for your chosen application.

Help! Can I get some support?

Of course, you can. Summit is not only made up of Designer, but also of Summit Drives, Software, and Support.

We understand there’s some room for error and doubt. Our team experts are at your side during this stage. Make sure to reach out to us if there are any questions we may need to answer: Submit a Request.
